Wolverine tow cable colour

What was the colour of the tow cable that came with the black&yellow version of the Wolverine? Is it black like the vehicle itself, or does it have a light colour? In the archive is a picture on wich it seems almost white, but because it's a catalog-pic I'm not entirely sure if it actually was released in that colour.

I got two cables and I don't have them spare. As a matter of fact I still need one.
