Hi all,
I found this great item in a local charity shop, it's from the Tech Deck range (those mini finger sized skateboard things) it's the perfect size for :AFLogo: & looks like a good piece to form a part of a dio' building, or even as a multi level display stand.

The original intention of the range is to collect as many diferent pieces, or multiples of the same piece, that all slot together & build your own perfect skate park...but I'm already thinking that the platforms would make some killer diorama scenarios possible, for example a stage or platform for :baron: or :cobracommander: to stand on in front of thier masses.

I'll certainly keep an eye out for more of this range in future, I don't know the original r.r.p. but this only cost me £1.50 & am hopeng to find more 2nd hand @ boot sales & the like

Cheers

Its a relatively new toy line so charity shops will be a bit scarce, I'd reckon . My son has some of this gear as its become quite popular over here.

I've just looked 'em uip on ebay, £8 + postage is the cheapest I've seen so far  ...so I think I grabbed a bit of a bargain with this one :-D , maybe if the line is discounted I'll consider getting a few more, other wise (@ £8 a shot!!) I'll see about finding 2nd hand ones.

How big are the boards themselves Chop? :-? I like the idea of :cobra: SK8t troopers 8-)

We used to sell it when I worked in the toy shop, about 5/6 years ago. Never used to sell many ramps but the boards used to sell well as you can customise the wheels, then they brought out bmxs too which you could take apart.

Presume its made a comeback since.

That old? Really? my son and his mates go tropo for this stuff. Its not uber expensive at TRU tho.

Boards themselves are too big for AF and (slightly) too small for VAM. I'll post a pic this arvo.

Yup, had to count back using christmases. Saw some of these in tesco yesterday (no a-team yet!) and they are exactly the same as the old ones, pretty similar packaging too.

The Tech Deck stuff us being sold by ToyMaster over here. I saw it the other day while looking at the dwindling amount of Transformers they now have.
