Bought what I thought was a Red Laser from Memorabilia for a fiver. It had been badly painted silver / grey.
Its been soaking in white spirit for a few weeks in an attempt to get the paint off, tried oven cleaner at the weekend and all the silver has been removed leaving a nice condition Red Laser with intact crotch!
Can really recommend Mr Muscle for removing paint / primer etc! Seems to love the jobs I hate, only thing it doesnt work on are factory paint apps and logos which is a good thing in this case!

I used it on some red shadow heads at the same time and they now look brand new.

I have used degreaser to great effect. But one pair of arms I used to test I left in to long and the skin tones/forearms went white. Also the rubber in the Series 1-2 chaps can react differently to series 3/Hasbro plastic.
Good result tho, Krakers.

Good news! I'm going to move the thread to Customs > Tips if you don't mind.

Of course wasnt sure where to put it.
One point is if your using it on lighter coloured soft plastics its a good idea to put white in with white etc. I put my painted skeletreon head in with some painted red torsos and the paint came off everything but Skeletron ended up with a nice flesh tone from the red.
