Hello from across the pond!

Hope I said that right! :) I'm a new fan of AF, and just discovered this board not too long ago. I've read the comics on the BFTB site, and they are great! So much more military oriented than the comics we got in the States. You really feel in those old comics that there's a real war on! It's almost perversely fun when several "redshirts" die each issue! And I love the underground base that AF builds towards the end of the run...was I mistaken or did I see blueprints of it somewhere?

Also, I'm very very interested in getting ahold of the early AF toys! I love the Star Wars like figures with their complete lack of modern posability. :) Does anyone know what kind of postage I'd be paying to have a small squad sent to the US of 4-5 figures?

Thanks for putting up with my loads of questions.

Hopefully I won't prove to be (in Recondo's words) "Flaming Yank", though that's got a different connotation here. :)

Welcome aboard. Though this board is pretty silent compared to other sites, you might find the information and the goodies you might need.

Your question: 4-6 figures -> expect around a dollar each for shipping in a regular bubbled envelope.

Welcome aboard MacrossMaster :D

Hope you enjoy this place mate. Nice to see more "Flaming Yank`s" have discovered it....LOL

I do agree with you that the AF comic did indeed feel more real than other comics & dare l say it,more realistic the GI JOE too.

Anyway plenty of AF experts here to help with queries you may have :D

Again welcome aboard.
