Dolphin or moondancer

Post by Celticjoe »

Which of these do you find hardest to get. The newer versions of the figures. I can only find Moondancer. Dolphin seems to be hard to get.

Dolphin was my last figure to get to "complete" the Action Force range (series 1, 2 & 3). He definitely seems rarest.

Just a thought - isn't Dolphins head just off a Joe? Might be possible to get a Moondancer, source out the appropriate black haired Joe, and then do a simple headswap? Wouldn't even be a custom - it'd be a Dolphin!

I picked them up at around the same time - which one is hardest to get depends when you look I think, a few months before christmas about 4 moondancers came up for sale at around the same time and before that I saw a couple of dolphins. I think once one sells for a nice price a few more usually follow. maybe it encourages other people to sell or remember they have one of those lying around in the attic...

Hmmm... maybe if you post yours as Buy-it-Now auctions for £10,000 it'll encourage other sellers to come out of the woodwork?

I just looked at the archives I think Dolphin was from the same mould as Grunt and another early Joe from the roster of 13.
Spock, where the hell's the power you promised?
