Palitoy Shelf Talkers.

Post by paulitoy »

I bought some vintage Action Man shelf talkers a year back which I've always liked. My local toy shop still has loads of vintage Scaletrix and Horby shelf talkers on their shelves from '80's.

Anyway, after hours of photoshopping and improving logos I've finally completed some custom made vintage talkers of my own. The photo flash doesn't really do them justice as they look bang-on. I'm really pleased with them especially the AF offer that overhangs out just like the proto drawings

Forgot to mention that I have 2 spare 'Droids' Shelf Talkers that are surplus to my requirements.

For sale at a tenner and postage.

The Droids one was the hardest and most time-consuming to do as the logo proved very difficult to get in hi-res. Still, it turned out near perfect in the end...

Any interest lmk before I list it on Rebelscum.

No, no intentions to make any more Matt.

Like the Baron's comment above, people just aren't into things like this, I'm kind of on my own when it comes to packaging.

I don't think people share the passion for cardboard that I do. Now there's a sentence I didn't think I'd type today!

Oh no, I meant I had no interest in the Droids spares - I'd also fancy a set of red AF ones!

Make that three of us at least matey. Hey, if you get a few people maybe it'd be worth your while getting a few printed.

Either way, great job fella... you've transported me back to Northampton circa 1984 and my toy buying days from the Western Favel Shopping Centre. hah.
