Tracker and Action Man? Did he die?

Hey I read somewhere that Tracker was action man, and I saw where the red shadows killed him in a comic, but now I can not find the correct comic. Does anyone have a clue to where they actually kill him. I am wanting information on Action man and the history of how Tracker is actually Action Man. Anyone have anything I can find on here that has that kind of information.

Yes, Tracker did get killed in a comic, here's a link to it:

And what a fantastic job The Baron has done in making it available to us all!
Bloody hell, does that mean I got a comic question right for the first time ever...?

I think you're referring to an old post I made on the DDP forum? I speculated that the Tracker killed in the GI Joe comic could easily have been the Z Force character Raoul Santillana.

that's the wrong figure for Tracker though! that's the Wheels/Infantryman figure. Tracker's the Quickfire/Stakeout type!

Haha! Yeah I know! But as far as the comic is concerned this is the one used in the Codename Tracker strip.
Have to admit that the toy figure makes more sense as an army builder... although tbh I have multiples of both.

wrong wrong wrong
Action Man is not tracker tracker is not Action Man, the red shadows did not kill Action Man they killed tracker
this was a BAD inside joke went wrong by DDP, they said ACTION MAN because the figure USED the same mold it was suppose to be in joke to that, and again went terrible wrong,
it was a bad played INSIDE joke
Later on SEVERAL TIMES DDP list this
Check the dead list in the profiles section, check the active roster list in AE, check the deployment map in WW III
CHECK THE COVER LIST OF AE #25
they list Action Man and tracker as DIFFERENT PEOPLE and they list TRACKER as DEAD and ACTION MAN as ALIVE AND WELL
Again this was never meant to be ACTION MAN, it was always intended to be TRACKER. Dont think Hasbro would for one moment let anyone kill ACTION MAN.
bad played out joke by DDP

I must admit, I know nothing about the GI Joe character Tracker.

The 'Action Man' comment works just as well for Z Force, though.

I wish I got the Action Man figure when I saw it on-line now. So Tracker and Action Man are definitely two different characters? I also read it that he somehow had 2 different codenames. I thought with the surf board that he was an homage to an Action Man of the time.

ya definately two characters, they are listed more than once as two seperate people in the comics
it will show tracker is dead and action man is alive
