Blood for the Baron!

In the toy profile, Chuck Connors is said to be from Cincinatti, Ohio. That's cool. It's only about an hour and a half away from where I live. Then, I noticed in the mini-comics, that Skyraider is wearing a cowboy hat and claims that he is from Texas! Sweet Mother of God! (Maybe only one out of a thousand Texans wear cowboy hats!)
Now, I used to live in Dallas, Texas, so I know plenty about that state. Many people from Ohio have lived there, and it is possible that Skyraider is one... but it should be noted that it is a two day journey by car between the states. Both states are very different!

What I'm wondering is this: Is Skyraider a Texan or an Ohioan? Believe it or not, with Texans, this makes a big difference. (Texas is almost like its own country, and Caucasian Texans definitely view those of us from the North as "Yankees". They really hated losing the Civil War! Ha! Ha! )

But I still want to know where Skyraider is from... especially since I just spent 14 hours crossing the open Texas prairie not more than 2 days ago!

My understanding is that he is from Cincinnati, Ohio. The Houston connection I think comes from his NASA days
