25th Gaucho

Post by The Black Major »

Hey, not been around for a bit, but thought I'd come back with my first attempt at a custom. It's a bit of an LBC & the pics are from my mobile, so not the best, but here's my take on a 25th Gaucho.

Thanks Baron, glad to be back again.

LBC - Lazy B***ard Custom. As the americans say. No painting etc, just a couple of part swaps.

I thought the part swap was the working part; I have done many lazy customs by just repainting, without changing nor adding anything (like my DC Blue Beetle custom).
Anyways, :gaucho: looks good, Major (well, :gungho: was just the perfect base ;-) )
:cobracommander: "You were engineered with such potential, Serpentor. But you lack the most important DNA of all... mine."

Thanks DA, swapping parts is just easier for me cos my modelling/painting skills ain't up to the high standards set by everyone here. So painting them is more like work in my case!

Jamar, the Jacket is belongs to Monkeywrench from the ROC two pack with Tunnel Rat and the rest of the figure is Gung-Ho fro the 25th two pack with battle armoured Cobra Commander (imposter/Fred). Quite simply a straight swap of the jackets, no painting or anything else involved - that's the colour of the hat anyway.

thats awesome, i myself only do LBC also because when I paint things the paint just rubs off in the joints and what not and I like to move my customs around or at least have the option to do it, I want them playable, so if I can find something like this I like to do it

thanks for letting me know
