How come new posts made in fanfic don't come up in Active topics?

I'm not sure, but I think a post needs a reply to count as Active.

I had posted a reply in my part 3 Baron it didn't show up in active topics

im having a problem not seeing all new posts when I click on view new posts. only when they have a few replies are some appearing. sorry dint mean to say that like yoda...

sundances comment about the whilrwind in the lates issue of roc for example - only saw that because I was looking to post it myself...

You haven't inadvertently clicked "Mark fourms read", have you? I made that mistake.

pretty sure i habent - its happened a few times recently

I noticed my newer chapter entries didn't come up as active even when I carried on in the same thread.

Maybe it needs to have a reply by a different member to count as active?
