Blood for the Baron!

Had studded snow tyres on the car for the last 3 weeks. Driving it sounds like an aircraft taking off - because it's now December and we've still had no snow (flakes that don't settle don't count). Warmest November for years.

Now I come onto the site and discover why - that scumbag Ironblood has created a weather machine ready to unleash a few snow bombs (oh I love it when they hit the island) over the UK before the Shads move in - Operation Claymore Reborn methinks.

Best do a double take of the blokes dressed in red around the shopping centres this December...

Eddie, a substantial number of Canadian tax dollars are spent on snow management because we're under the white stuff for so long each year. For local (parish-sized) councils it can run to half their annual budget. Has to be done, otherwise we'd be screwed. I wouldn't have thought it was justifiable to spend money like that in the UK for the odd day that snow stops play.
