did Big Ben get released in the UK? he doesn't appear on any of the flyers in the archive, yet I'm convinced I saw the IAF four-pack in Woolies as a kid.

am I out of my tree or can anyone confirm that Woolies did sell smoe version of the IAF set?

I thought the IAF was a mail away in the U.S. only.

From what I can remember the first version of Big Ben was never officially released in the U.K. However, I remember GWHAT or GWAT shop havin imported spanish G.I.Joes and Big Ben was one of them, so the first version must of been released in Europe.

the IAF was US release only.

I cant remember if BB (91) was released though (know lowlight v.3 from the US 91 line was not released)

just checked th 94 catalogue and BB is not there. Lowlight v.3 was released as the euro weapon version.

I remember getting my Big Ben figure in a toy shop called Beatties when I went to Croydon High St many years ago & couldn't believe my luck  He's still 1 of my favourite figures.

Now there's a blast from the past. Beatties, was a sad day when they went under, they had some superb stores in Croydon and Bromley.
