Blood for the Baron!

ok thought i'd start a seperate thread for this project.
made the mould last weekend and cast the part today and it finally worked, i cast it in red as i haven't opened the clear resin yet that i have as it goes off if not used within a certain amount of time also due to the fact that we don't know what the final idea will be yet, the finnished item will of course be clear to compliment the stand and it just simply slots onto the existing footpeg. i've been through a fair bit of moulding material to get to this stage and this i think could possibly be the final shot, i know steve is also working on an idea to create these stands so all feedback is welcome and if anybody else has any ideas please post here so we can eventually decide on what way to go with these!

Hmmm, very interesting. I do like the idea of it attaching to the original stand, I was thinking along the lines of a separate stand altogether - this is much more sensible.

Like all the best ideas, its nice & simple...

I think the clip would also work on any sort of base that uses a peg as well..so could be adapted to other figure types as well, say the old oblong Hasbro/Joe battle stands.

May be useful for Quarrel/Scarlett as well.

I would love to be able to display my figures but don't have the shelf space. These stands do look great as the ROC ones are terrible.

Meanwhile, back on topic...

when i move back the only piece of furniture im going to insist on is shelving to display sh*t!
