A bad excuse to show off a Custom or two I've been working on for absolutely ages.

(this thread sort of follows on from this one:-

viewtopic.php?f=24&t=5195&p=51227&hilit=coors#p51227

where the Boss and Stormie have themselves a bet)

MEANWHILE, AT THE BOARS NEST:--

Image

:storm: "nice new chairs Boss - you been spending your winnings off our last bet on some interior decor??"

BOSS:- So, Stormie, its been ages. Whats happening with this here bet of ours to truck me and Rosco some Coors beer to the Boars Nest here for our party"

:storm: "Well Boss, me and the Muton have been kind of busy of late, with going to the South Coast and visiting Dave Tree and all, but go on then, you're on!!! We'll take your bet....."

Image

:storm: "Muton - put that serving wench down and have thee away - we've got work to do if we're to win this bet!!"

Image

:muton: "How the hell are we going to do this one Dad? We've not got a truck! And besides, we're really busy lately with the Shad head cloning business and all. And besides - we all know that trucking Coors South of Texas is bootlegging...."

:storm: "That's enough of your whining lad!!! As always, I have a brilliant plan! I've just got to make me a phone call"

:muton: "ooooo - is it the Duke Boys???? I love them Dukes!! If so can I press the horn on hte General??? Can I???? PLEASEEEEE????"

:storm: "Now they would be my first choice, but these days they dont touch bootlegging after they got caught running shine and put on probation, so these other two are the best guys for this job lad! They've managed it a few times before!"

Image

:storm: "Ya'll got your ears on??? This here is the Stormie One and the Mu - we got a job for y'all... [PAUSE] ... why, of course you should bring him too - he'll need to drive the truck....."

(MINUTES LATER....)

Image

BANDIT :- "Howdy y'all - I hear you've got a job for me and the Snowman here???"

Image

Image

:storm: "Ha Ha!!! Muton - the Bosses money is as good as ours!!!!"

Image

TO BE CONTINUED (maybe)....

Bandit and the Snowman were mentioned in an episode of My Name is Earl, so I guess they are classic charas, but I don't know them. Who were they and what did they do in their series? (I guess they were TV charas)

Cheers guys! These were actually loads harder to do than they look. Stuff like bandits arms - they're from shipwreck, so I had to grind the gloves off, and shape them into a set of hands. And the flarey trousers needed guns filing off etc! Loads of unseen work, but really pleased with them in the end! Not quite 3 years (cheeky devil!!) but not far off!
Trans am is an ertl 1/18th scale diecast one. I collect them too! This one is one of my faves as it's actually signed on the bonnet by burt reynolds himself!!!
