yep, you read correct..... my next custom will be a U.S. marine Sgt DUCK! think vietnam era, im planning a whole "quack" squad but @ the moment i only have 2 base figures. idealy i want the sarge, a medic, radio operator & a couple of grunts.

Will the bases be realistic duck figures or cartoon-like duck figures?

realistic would be sweet, one of my friends in london is into taxidermy so when im back maybe i could do something realistic.....
he has a lot of animals, his wife got him a badger for christmas!

I'm getting visions of the Disney Star Wars Figures & Howard the Duck...only in W.W.2 combat fatigues & helmet, carrying a Tommy gun or Johnny Seven OMA....

dont get disheartened mate, there have been times when ive got bugger all comments & not bothered to do something that might have turned out good!
have assembled all the accessories (it's a challenge to make something designed to fit a 1/6 scale human fit a cartoony duck!) & they look pretty good, now ive just gotta paint him! i'm hoping i can do him justice!
they are all going to be based on actual breeds of duck (sgt. "mallard") so any suggestions for names would be greatly appreciated, so far im thinking campbell, rouen & muscovy...........

Often it's best just to get on with it & surprise folks with the results...it's your hobby,time & collection after all mate, I mean if I'd listened to certain people's comments, I'd of given up collecting the "G" words ages ago & just look @ DAMartin's dio' stories, you just have to admire the show of enthsiasm he puts into them..
