Mine was the Toltoys chap, came with green overalls, boots, floppy green beret and a M16. He can be seen here in a Ground assault uniform, he is the early flocked feller;
Oohhhh, VAM rules. You still got him, Fuzz?

Actually they did. All the series 1 AF are based on VAM uniforms.

I never wished for 12" Star Wars because it meant the ships would be ridiculous. Imagine a Millennium Falcon for 12" SW. OHHHH f*cking WOW.
My original VAM is KIWI Toltoys and the EE Sharpshooters are Aussie Toltoys. There is a difference

The new 3 are escaped cons
I'd like a HG Wells, George Orwell or Jules Verne VAM

My Dad was fond of me playing soldiers, but not of me "collecting dolls", so he was cool with me having AF and He Man etc it was years before he gave in and got me "a dollie" (typical North East bloke!).
Pleased to say that birthday I got three - SAS, Space Patroller guy, and Orange Frogman. SAS saw most action though, and they now live on top of MOC Corner with the one or two I've bought since!

Helicopter Pilot...a present from my (now late) Grandmother, the person who kick started my life long love of toys.

dunno. i know i had the deep sea diver and the policeman on the motorbike and a soldier with the 'tank'.
parents weren't bothered about me having 'war' toys seeing as Dad's ex-Army.
