On call

The pilots are on duty , but waiting for a call to action.
Finally got round to starting the airfield, lots of nice wood outside Ikea waiting for someone to pick up and take away.
Planning to expand on this to see if I can fit a couple of Squadrons of different aircraft on a larger scale diorama, and maybe a builing or two.

Thanks both :)
Can`t go to battle without a cup of Cha!
These handy boards can be stacked away easily too, I think a 1/18 control tower will be a big project by itself though!

I got a good crotch for my Ace last month, finally. Now all I need is a Skystriker. ;-) These look great and with all the Skystriker talk, its only further whetting my appetite. More pics please

BTW, you need a little bell on a rope. Perfect, mate.

The Skystiker I have is one of the few survivors from my childhood collection. It's such an awesome vehicle no wonder they sold bucket loads of them. There is a guy on another forum that has ten of them! Or is he on here..?

I remember being so excited as a kid as Christmas got closer and closer, I even made a little bed for Ace to sleep in when not flying! I guess that was my first notion of a diorama? I also used to set up my figures in a battle with each other then go out of the room, so I could come back in to see how they all looked.

All that stopped when I noticed that girls had breasts. :.

Totally agree with you there, I had the Rattler and my mate had the Skystriker, always a bit envious of him for that!
So I`ve got a few more than ten now to make up for a troubled childhood. :)
