Nirvana's 25th-style Red Shadows project

It was suggested I bring these over here as I keep working through my International Joes project. While my Action Force & Argentina/Brazil work will stay a bit closer to the originals, the Red Shadows army is getting a modern update. Some of these can also be found sprinkled into my Cobra Island Diorama entry. Red Vulture will be my next addition, I just need to find the time to paint him.

What's this, a Crimson Destro? Could be, it would go well with the Crimson Strike Team Baroness. However, it could also be an updated Red Jackal.

What would a modern Red Jackal be without some modern Red Shadow troopers to join him?

I wasn't willing to give up my 2nd Crimson CC body from the TRU 3-pack (it's already being used for a custom), so I went with the next best thing. Red Laser is a Japanese terrorist and former student of Tokyo U who is brainwashed by the Baron. For a modern take, I kept up the SE head and Resolute CC helmet theme, but the bonus with this particular head is a hole (where the SE goggles plugged in) that leaves a spot for the Baron to reprogram Red Laser whenever needed. I just need a Baron Ironblood and a device to wipe Red Laser's mind...

I couldn't find any ninjas in the Red Shadows, so I decided to create one. He'll probably also double as my Crimson Storm Shadow the same way Red Jackal doubles as a Crimson Destro.

Code Name: Fog of War
Real Name: Unknown
Bio: Very little is known about the ninja assassin, Fog of War. Speculation suggests that the ninja may actually be multiple people assuming one identity. Reports and video give credence to this idea due to how quickly the assassin moves from area to area dispatching soldiers with a few slices before moving on. However, no definitive proof has ever been found to support this theory as fact. Subject is possibly mute and to be considered a threat even unarmed.

Nicely done Nirvana it's good to see someone else use the Resolute Cobra Troopers as Red Shadows besides myself, I would have left Red Jackal's head silver though.

I debated it, but I wanted a difference between the two characters depending on when I use the body. Also, Destro had Silver and Gold heads so it made sense that Red Jackal might use Silver and Red heads. I have way too many Destro heads left over from customs awaiting a new use.

I think it is Eddie but what I do is try to use names of predatory animals that would fit in with the likes of Wolf and Vulture.
