1980s Sci-Fi pencil cases :-?

Okay, this is a bit of a weird one... but many of you know how much I love sci-fi ;-)

When I was a little kid back in the 1980s, some of the other kids at school (usually the ones from a "well-off" background) had these large padded, rectangular zip-up pencil cases with a picture on each side. Each of these cases was different, but had similar style sci-fi pictures on them. The picture usually depicted some large "used future" spacecraft hovering over beautifully lush fields of arable farmland, gold and green crops.

Does anyone know anything about these pencil cases, the origin of the artwork in particular please?

Cheers!

I had a black pencil case with a spaceship on it, I think it ( the space ship) was printed in a red outline comic book style & resembled the spaceship from the Space Sentinels(?) cartoon..All I remember is my grandmother brought it back from a holiday in Europe.

I think you can see it in this..
