SteveD's Castings "Wish List"
Posted: 17 Aug 2009 11:26
Once we get past the holiday season and into Sept I'm going to be getting some stuff to make more moulds for castings again. Rather than keep hijacking other threads I thought I'd start this one to see what folks may or may not want me to do.
So far I plan on:-
1. Remaking the Series 3 head so it isn't squashed
2. Making sets of Mountain & Arctic legs for use as SWS customs
3. Laser Exterminator support legs and viewing TV thingy (that's the technical term)
4. Short aerials
5. Long aerials
6. Shadowtrak side missiles
7. Divers red hammer
8. Series 1 German stick grenades (possibly).
I also have some more flexible rubber materials that I need to use within a certain time, so am looking to see if I can make a viable trench coat like the one worn on my Black Guard (see the Customs section of the site, under my name).
I know we've talked about a few ideas elsewhere, but any ideas from anyone on further bits to add to the list, so that I can consider them? Not saying I can promise anything, but it would help to bounce ideas around on here, rather than me threadjacking.
Just so that people know as well, so far I have that I can do: (All of these are ready to go, so if anyone is interested PM me).
Pallitoy Shad heads
25th Style Shad heads
RAH Shad heads (balljointed neck detailing)
Dufus style Shad heads (got loads of these cast already, so can do people deals if anyone wants any? Just like the ones that Broken Arrow occasionally do, only lots cheaper)
Repro Shadow Bazookas
Kraken tridents (tend to be very brittle though)
Shadow/German legs for customs (need painting)
Shadow/German torso parts (need work to join together, and once done are pretty fragile and so only really good for display - perfect to use with any spare limbs you got knocking about though and a Pallitoy head to make a cheap Shadow custom?)
And just to point out that I am going to be using various ways to identify any repro parts I make from originals very easily. Not yet decided how best to, but stuff like Bazookas I will likely dremmel out a hole in the end or something, so if any appear on ebay people on here can ask the seller and easily ID repro bits.
Finally - a request. If anyone has any Rise of Cobra figures could they possibly pull the head off one and post some pics of them? I need to know how they compare with the 25th series heads and necks, to see if the 25th heads will work.
let the "consolidated wish list" commence!
