Some new MOC's!

Post by paulitoy »

Picked these moc figures up last week.

I'm no vintage GI Joe collector, but they seemed nice and a bit of a bargain considering their age.

They are vintage '82 figures from Argentina.

I know that Destro and Doc would be worth a small fortune if they were USA carded. No idea about Argentinian equivalents [anyone???]

I planned on taking the Doc off the card as the stretcher packed with him is the same green one as the Z Force Troop Carrier, but I think I'll keep him as he is.

I would dearly love the Destro & Doc to be AF carded, but they are so rare, that maybe these two will have to do for some time...

Also had a 'brown' Grunt. Before it arrived, I thought it would be the 'tan' Grunt, but on arrival, its a whole new brown figure, which adds nicely to my Grunt/Zap collection.

There is also a Quick Kick, which I don't want and is up for sale if anyone fancies him?

Plastirama. Leave closed, the plastic quality is really bad/brittle.

It's a bargain if you paid a tenner maximum per item.

I've always thought Grunt looks like Hugo Weaving, but then again it might just be me. I'm quite surprised GI Joe was sold in Argentina in the early 80s I would of thought all things American would only be slightly less popular than all things British.

oh man that tan grunt is SOKERK, how much did that run you? hes a different character and not grunt at all! the file card is in portugese and if you have ACTION FORCE RED DAWN #2 you can find a translated and expanded file card/data file on the charater. I had the card translated by a friend of mine and I used it as a basis for the data file.

hes a part of the Argen 7 comic that I got coming out soon as well too!

where did you find it? and how much ?

its the one Argen 7 member I dont have now ( thank you joecon )

you have seen and know of the ARGEN 7 dont you ? well if you dont they were re-released / re-produced by this years joe con in new 25th construction. but ya the originals were released in the 80s and are hard to find and if you do then get ready to pay 2000 dollars at least for a sh*tty condition one LOL

GI JOE was also sold in Brazil as well
