Blood for the Baron!

Okay Ive been dealing with some of my contacts in Asia and it is possible for us to make new Red Shadow troopers


The figures would be of course RED , it would use the original Cobra trooper mold, so it would be articulate. We would be using the the original RED SHADOW head cast from steveD or even an original AF toy.

The figures are of excellent quality as good as Hasbro official stuff ( there is a good reason for that too, ---which I wont go into here for REASONS but if you think about it and Im sure you can guess as to why )

So would you be interested in picking up a set of 10 Red Shadow troopers for around $250 dollars ?

$250 dollars is what the GI JOE Club charges for thier BOXED set

The 3 figure sets from this years con ( the Argen 7 3 pack ) cost $65 dollars so its roughly $20 dollars a figure plus shipping.

We would need to produce at least 100 sets and be able to sell them to do this ( so a total of at least 1000 RED SHADOW TROOPERS would be produced )

Now its possible for this to be cheaper ! Because when I inquired I said a order of 650, so that would be only 65 sets. I then asked if we did more that 65 would the price be cheaper per figure and they said OF COURSE. The more we produce the cheaper it is to do this

I need to hear you voice on things PLEASE VOTE AND TELL ME YOUR THOUGHTS

Now I know we all want it to cheaper so no need to say that . Again if we could produce more and make it 5 dollars a figure I would do it and will do it! We dont want to make any profit here but again that would take more orders. So please constructive talk/ advice /criticism in this thread .

At $300au, I couldn't do it, unfortunately. I'd buy a single figure at $20, but not a set. Sorry, mate.

thats what I need to hear yes or no, dont want to do this if people dont want it !

Oh, I want it alright But I value my nethers a bit more.

I assume these are like the new cobra troopers available on ebay us cast in different colours... I might be interested but id liketo see some sort of pic first...

Sorry had to vote no, too far out of my budget I'm afriad..
I would love to see something like this happen @ some point in the future, but if Hasbro do do it as a convention set, it's bound to be rare & sought after by American Joe collectors & dealers..& will cost us true fans here the U.K., a large furtune on the secondary market, or worse still unobtainable @ any price.

I'd love Red Shadows, but can't justify that much for them ATM
TBH it wouldn't be a viable option unless it was about $100 cheaper.

How are they going to be armed? If it would be cheaper I for one would rather that they came with nothing. Then I can just bang an order into Marauder Inc. and take it from there.

Would it be worth getting in touch w/ someone like Modellers Loft and seeing if they would buy some setds?

possibly but unless they order like 2-300 more it wouldnt really change the price.

if something is ever done its going to be about the same cost as the US stuff and right now the joe convention stuff cost 20 dollars a figure so I dont see us being able to beat the biggest joe convention in the world

For a set of 10 I would maximum pay 100 USD.
