Blood for the Baron!

Not sure if this is the right place for these but here are a few AF/Joe/Cobra related pics I put together using various Photoshop techniques I picked up from different website tutorials... I was surprised how well some of them came out (seeing as I'm not really a computer person and still have no idea what half the controls on Photoshop do!!) Anyway thought I'd share them here.... (I also like to have a little background story in head for each pic!)

SNOW

When the main communications dish at a Cobra Antarctic listening post goes offline it's up to the duty Televiper to get it working.... despite the blizzard raging outside!!

WATER/REFLECTION

A torpedo attack on the USS Flagg has left the ship powerless and knocked out the main air defense system computers. Unable to launch it's own planes and with Cobra aircraft racing in, Mainframe races desperately to get the system back on line even as the compartment begins to flood, knowing that he has only a few minutes before his comrades will have to seal him in...



UNDERWATER

Somewhere in the Persian Gulf, Action Force are investigating the suspected sabotage of underwater cables. 4 of these hi-tec fiber optic cables have been cut in the past month, crippling communications (especially internet access) to several Gulf States. This has resulted in businesses losing millions of Dollars and is believed to have been caused by terrorists intent on causing economic chaos around the globe - and Cobra are the number 1 suspects. While Action Force ships and SHARC submarines patrol the waters, divers like Deep Six are on the sea bed inspecting/patrolling the cables.

Thanks for posting, some of these pics look great, esp the snow and underwater ones... Maybe you could post a tutorial, unless its a simple as pressing the "Snow" option...

Here's the site I got the tutorials from... most are pretty simple to follow (unfortunately not as simple as a "snow" button though!!) Although not all versions of Photoshop seem to have all the controls/settings you need for some of them. Anyway hope they help...

That is a great use of Photoshop Greg you can do similar things with Photobucket which I hope to do at some point.

It's good to see you can have water scenes without really putting your toys in water (the joints are very difficult to dry).
