just scored a Black Dragon ninja fig but know nothing about him.

any info anyone?

I must add something else: Even though the Black Dragon's filecard states that created the Black Dragon clan to keep an eye on the Arashikage not betraying him, the Ninja Battles comic shows the Black Dragon as a sort of old enemy to the Arashikage clan (similar, but not the same).

Speaking of that, could somebody scan pages 6 to last of the comic? I have just read the initial 5.

The comic version is based on the CGI Ninja Battles film but Hasbro love to have their own story despite what is put out in the comics and animated films and cartoons.

Ok, for beginners, there is a clan. Both the VvsV one and the Ninja Battles one (re-released as the single-carded one you have here) are generic ninjas. Their leader (who is also named Black Dragon) is a convevtion exclusive made with Sub-Zero's head and Shang Tsung (or Dojo)'s body. The convention set also included a new generic Black Dragon.

According to the leader's filecard, they exist since before the Cold War.
