thinking about a new fan-fic, want opinions

i'm thinking about doing a new fan-fic - working title 'United Offensive' - which would see AF, the Joes, Argen 7 and Oktober Guard all working together against Cobra.

I'm planning to add to the Oktober Guard, so their roster would run:

Col. Brekhov (CO)
Red Star (2IC)
Daina (Helo pilot/sniper)
Schrage (Infantry)
Stormavik (Marine/Machine gunner)
Horror Show (anti-armour/demolitions)
Big Bear (anti-armour)
Hot Jets (pilot)
Berkut (my Ukrainian para)
Molot (my Russian infantryman)
Akula (my Russian frogman)

My Argen 7 unit will be:

Shimik (CO)
Glenda (helo pilot)
Manleh (HALO)
Fuego (HALO)
Gaucho (my Argentine version, armour)
Jaguar (my Argentine jungle trooper)
Sprata (intel)
Topson (coms.)
Redmack (SAW)

I'm then using a mix of Pallitoy and my own characters for AF, plus Big Ben and Sgt. Day (codename Knight) from GI Joe. Only Beaver and Moon Dancer would be non-European.

The Joes would then include Chopper, Blades, Sky Raider and Riptide (my version of Surfer) as well as regular Joes.

I'm also kicking around a small antipodean force comprising Kiwi, Blast Off, Skymate (the Aussie Joe) and some of my characters; Archer, Tane, Tagger, Mako and Kahu.

so...

1. Does this sound good or crap?
2. Should I steal some of the Joes to add to AF where they were said to be European in HAF?
3. Should I add 'Digger', the Aussie Recondo look-alike, from the Aussie comics to that unit?
4. Is the Antipodean team even a good idea?
5. Should I use Outback and Recondo as Aussies, as AF depicted them?
6. Have I not ruined your childhood already with my existing fic?

i don't count Misha. Dragonsky's dead. and if Gorky's DDP, he doesn't exist. this time-line follows BAF/MAF/GI Joe continuity.

Cobra emerged in 1982. The Joes were formed after several attacks on the US. Following several incidents in Europe - including a Cobra-backed IRA attack on the Tory conference at the Grand Hotel Brighton, the western European allies formed Action Force. In 1984, a Crimson Guard officer led a splinter group in breaking away from Cobra, he took the alias 'Baron Ironblood'. Ironblood's 'Red Shadow' group battled both AF and Cobra in Europe, and in the Soviet Union. This led to the Warsaw Pact forming the Oktober Guard to combat Cobra.

In 1986, Action Force finally defeated the Red Shadows, but continued to battle Cobra. That same year, Cobra carried out several attacks in Argentina, Chile, Peru and Brazil. The new democratic government of Argentina formed Argen 7, they collaborated with GI Joe in defeating Cobra's Brazilian operation, as well as trying to stop Cobra's gun-running in the lawless Tri-Border Area.

Following the Cobra Island Civil War in 1991, Cobra's resorted to operating cells in the US and Europe, cells which AF and the Joes have spent six years trying to locate and stop.

(This is the background. Action Force operatives like Skip, Eagle and Quarrel thwarted the Cobra bomb in Wardour St., Quarrel, Beaver and Quickfire stopped the attack on the Eiffel Tower, Skip, Eagle and Tidal Wave stopped Cobra kidnapping the Ishmali ambassador, Quarrel, Eagle and Whirl thwarted the Cobra Weaponsmith's diamond laser work, etc.)

I'm not using anything from GI Joe post Cobra Civil War because, basically, i've never read it. the only one I've read is #152 (IIRC) where Ace flies Colton in and X-16 and Colton remembers his recruitment to head GI Joe
