Blood for the Baron!

just read codename-sky raider and the character Karl Vagan is hinted at as being the Baron.

what do people think? is Vagan the Baron or a completly different character?

There was a bit of discussion about it back when barto was creating his Timeline project, as I recall - although FrustratePilot did keep calling him Karl Veder by mistake!

If you want to know who I am just ask But seriously I wondered who Karl Vagan might have been unless he is just another Shadow operative like Faroukh. What I find interesting is there was Faroukh in the Red Shadows and years later Marvel UK had a Faroukh working for MARS he is in the comics section I wonder if the writer was a BAF fan and decided to re-vamp that character as such.

Isn't that faroukh dude a swiss-random from one of the Cobra-era "Revenge of the Shadows" type stories, except - literally - the teeny version? They take over somewhere in the mountains and blow stuff up, Vanyo is the artiste.

Yeah, they hinted at Vagan, but had good intel at the outset of Bluthund, inc. a picture of the Baron sans helmet, and the first AF-BAF annual had a long breakdown of Eisenblut's sensitive crimes and personal history etc.

Maybe he was Zartan before Cobra hired him?

My grief, that's a veritable counter-intuitive synthesis of several AF universes, but can see what's being got at.

If it is Sultan I am thinking of what story is he in and do you think the Indy figure of Sallah would look good as him?
