Jonathan Bama : Declassified
Name : Jonathan Bama

Jonathan Bama is Quick Strykes younger brother. He is also clearly the evil of the two and it’s purely my speculation but I think Quick Stryke joined Iron Claw and SKAR because he was trying to watch over his younger brother.
In the Flashbacks that we do see him in he is definitely Gung-Ho for Iron Claw and SKAR so there is no mistake he was a bad guy at the core, while Quick Stryke is not.
When the chance was given to him by Iron Claw to become the Ultimate Soldier through an experimentation project he enthusiastically volunteered for it.
Quick Stryke begged his younger brother Jonathan not to go through with it, but Jonathan was too eager to be the first of these new soldiers, and to be “a Fearless Fighting Machine†and he considered it a great honor.
He wanted to be this, so Iron Claws Army would be invincible.
Unfortunately the process causes Jonathan Bama to go crazy and attack Iron Claw.
Quick Stryke tried to hold his younger brother down so Iron Claw would not kill him but it resulted in a struggle with Jonathan instead. In the struggle Jonathan pulled out a gun and turned it on Quick Stryke. He fired the gun which hit a gas tank that resulted in a large explosion.
When the smoke cleared Jonathan was in a seizure, lurching and he died. Quick Stryke was emotionally devastated and left SKAR to seek revenge later.
Years later (in the comic ) Iron claw would trick Quick Stryke into believing Jonathan Bama was still alive, but it was just a trap, sprung to capture him and use Quick Stryke as a prisoner to try to destroy GI JOE team. While Quick Stryke was captured, Iron Claws plan did fail in the end.
Jonathan’s death serves as Quick Strykes motivation to stop Iron Claw and S.K.A.R. so that other innocent people will not suffer like Jonathan Bama.
