Blood for the Baron!

I don't know what direction Devil's Due Press will go with their Corps! comic book (haven't even read issue 0), but they've recently revamped their offerings, and I've noticed some interesting parallels with the Action Force of old.

They're a multinational anti-terrorist force made of elite agents from the world over, spread out in teams based on specialties, with a ground attack force, a naval force, an aerial force and a covert ops force. Their enemies are vicious terrorists clad in reds with some black, and that faction's leader happens to be grey-haired.

It's probably little more than a coincidence, but I find it interesting that Lanard's line is now closer to Action Force than it is to GIJoe.

Fair play to them. Seems they have upped their game a little. If only they could just improve the quality of the figures!

THey have a few sets in the entertainer near me, figure sets, figures with the mini vehicles, watchtower, red ifv, small red planes, hummer...

That red A.P.C. thing would be perfect for transport !

Apparently The Corps! was only a mini series that didn't take off there was hardly any characterisation or plot going by reviews I found. I was disappointed because after GI Joe was finished I wanted to get into a new military title from the start but now I'm giving IDW a chance instead.
