Blood for the Baron!

Some of you may have seen my easy modern Hasbro Red Shadow custom. Here is my Black Major custom. I took the Resolute 5 pack Commander, popped his head off and removed his cape. I took the screws out of his legs and took the legs off so that I could remove the bottom of his jacket. I put the legs back on and took the head and hat from Red Star. I painted the hair black and extended the sideburns a little. The hat was painted red of course. He is using the comic pack Destro's belt with the Resolute Commander's sword. I'm going to keep my eye out for a small skull and crossbones to put on his hat. I might end up painting his neck someday.


Gaucho is a comic pack Gung Ho with the 5 pack Resolute trooper's vest. That will probably change once the new Monkey-wrench comes out.

The neck isn't a collar but fleshy and unpainted.

Yeah, I've seen a number of people use this hat/head combination. I didn't want to use Vogle or Dovchenko for mine. I hadn't seen anyone use this body, however. When I first saw photos of the Resolute 5 pack I instantly knew who Cobra Commander would become.

Gotcha. But the Major does wear a black scarf so it doens't look out of place as is.

He does look good with a sword, it fits the character well.

Good point, I should've thought of that when I had had the paint mixed.

A couple of the BFTB colourists have done that, I'm not so keen on it to be honest.

I painted one of my Black Majors with a red scarf as all other details off him had worn away it looks different
