Blood for the Baron!

Not my auction, nor did I win it, but Ebay had an auction for a Kraken with a Cobra symbol. Curious, I mailed the seller, who said that the symbol was indeed a sticker and not a paint job.

Were any Krakens ever distributed this way by anyone, maybe to get rid of stock? Or is this most likely some kid converting their forces from Shadow to Cobra?
