New Look Section Test
Posted: 04 Oct 2003 22:39
Apologies for my recent absence from around here, but I've been very short of time.
To make up for it in part, may I present for comment the first section to be done in the new style, Q Force (not Space Force for once!).
http://www.bloodforthebaron.com/afonlin ... index.html
All the Q Force Pages are complete, as are all links to Q Force Images.
The other links aren't working yet as the pages haven't been done.
Major changes from prototype page are the use of a single navigation panel on the left, and the adoption of a panel on the right to hold thumbnails to link to the images. The pages contain all the content I've currently got, blueprints, photos, instructions and comic features. Stickers will also be added where available.
The page should scale correctly on all screen sizes 800x600 and over.
The only thing I'm not sure about is whether to have the images opening without a page (as on the Q Force pages) or or with the image on a page (as now).
Any thoughts/feedback welcome!
Depending on reaction I plan to roll two sections each weekend for the next month or so.
