Blood for the Baron!

really growing to like the wilder vaughn character, but still really like him as black major....... so im gonna combine the 2!
got some new figs for my birthday & im making a new shadow army (not happy with what i did before)
anyways..... stuck in the studio while the ceiling gets fixed (it's going really well!) so decided to sculpt a beard on my major vaughn. using the same head as before, maybe even keeping the hat but changing everything else.
not painted yet, need to let the putty dry. also doing some minor sculpting to my new shadow heads, but im gonna keep that to myself until im finished!

have almost finished my new shadow customs, these also combine the old with the new........
wilder vaughn is looking pretty good, just need to decide if im gonna keep his old style hat.
anyone got any ideas how the baron could link in?
will hopefully have time to finish everything & get them posted tomorrow.

yeah, but he cant be the baron in the new shadow storyline can he? he's an ex used car salesman!

Clearly the used car salesman is a decoy. I think he's this guy:

baron, you must be the king of cleaning up loose ends, now it all makes sense!
the car sales man guy was just cobra commanders double, all we need to figure out now is how ironblood developed a speech impediment! when will you post up more of my cannon fodders/custom figures?

Vaughn looks brilliant. The goateee is pitch perfect!!! Love it!

The Red Star face looks quite old so he suits the older look.

As for the Baron...

The switch to Cobra Commander was a deceit that allowed Baron ironblood to go to ground. Ironblood realised that his aims for world domination would be more difficult fighting both AF and Cobra. In return for betraying the Red Shadows and selling some vehicle designs, Ironblood could slip away (with everyone thinking he's CC) with a huge reward.

Of course Ironblood realised that Cobra or the Shadows could never defeat AF in the paramiliatry conflicts, so he cut his losses...

...or so it appears. In fact he developed a new way of acheiving his aims. Cobra never got the key Muton designs or Kraken's DNA codes, and also he knew it would be far better to let his two main rivals - AF and Cobra - battle it out with each other so he could plot a newer way for World Domination!!! Crafty bastard!!!
