having camoflage is all very well, but then it kinda sucks if you've got a giant frigging red Z on yer arm...

hence these babies.

a low-obs F-Force one is in the works as well...

As a kid I was already disappointed in the usage of the coloured details. Z had plausible camouflage, SAS was black, but why on earth orange/red or yellow details? It totally messed up the camouflage! And the Red Shadows were the dog's bollocks in my opinion. What idiot is walking around in a red uniform? Perfect camouflage in a strawberry patch, but otherwise useless.

the only way the Shads could be camo'd is if they were on futtin' MARS!

I'm also going to do a Black-on-green Z logo.

cool! Subdued patch nice concept. Although these days we have a bit of colour on our combat uniform in the form of a Tactical Recognition Patch, so in the RAF we have the Maroon, light blue and Navy of the Stable belt on the right arm. And a badge on the right breast that says Royal Air Force, just incase anyone thinks we might be the Army.

Well, I loved the absurdly coloured uniform logos to be honest (especially the red 'Z'). They were part of what made those figures cool and not just generic soldiers for me.

Don't forget the Union Flag on the oposite arm, although some of my uniforms have them on the same side but no one seems to notice (My way of rebeling against authority  )
Our recognition patches are gold and blue the same as our lanyard. :wheels:
