She generally tut's a lot and doesn't approve! The first time she saw them her words were "For F*?! sake". I have a lot of other stuff too. But she collect wee ceramic teddy things (can't remeber the name of them), I've bought her a few of them too!

Lol Paul. My wife said the same thing. I asked her last night what she thought of my AM and AF habit's. She said at least I'm home and not out doing drugs or pissing it up the wall. She also said the only thing that miffs her is that she doesn't really have a hobby and I have several.
Lately there have been 2-3 parcels arriving a week. I think its more me being cautious than her worrying tho. Bit silly really. I showed a mate my collection yesterday, he was awestruck. Mostly with the Millennium Falcon mind you

Mine is coming round to the idea. Slowly. She's got the stage where "as long as it's all kept in the one room it's okay for the time being" from the previous "it's just not right that these toys havene't been played with". I'm not sure I'm too keen on the "for the time being" bit. I have told her that a MOC Muton is the rarest figure there is, in case I ever really piss her off and she makes good on her threat to "open one"!
Made me laugh lots Paul - first time my better half saw my collection in all of its boxes she emitted an "oh for f@cks sake - why did I agree to marry you?".
I had my new neighbours (to be - they aint bought it yet!) round yesterday (new house is, literally, a new house, so nobody in half the street yet) and when we went into the "Command Room" he got well excited! Turns out he's a warhammer collector, and big on his painting of them etc. His wife just looked at my fiance and said "these two are going to get on just fine, so we will be able to drink lots of wine in the garden!".

Men are complaining that women are spending too much money on clothes, women are complaining that men are spending too much money in the pub, on power tools, toys, whatever. I hate these pointless discussions over money. When we bought our house and moved in together I introduced some sort of 'pocket money' system, % of salary. This might sound childish, but it works perfectly! No matter how foolish the money is spent, it's allowed, no discussion.
Regarding the hobby: as long as I don't behave like a total nerd my girlfriend is cool with it. I don't talk action figures 24/7, I don't dress up as my favourite action figure, despite the large storage capabilities of our attic I tend to keep my collection lean and mean, toys are only on display in my recording studio, I leave the rest of the house alone.
Any finally, every odd day I f*ck her brains out, just to remind her I am not a 40 year old virgin!

Sagely words indeed Jaye! As long as you're not thinking about Quarrell at the time?
