Am I right in assuming that Mountain is the AF9 vehicle , and Arctic is the codename for the AF9 driver?
Is there any indication on the cardback?

Because this toy was based on the Action Man one below, I would guess that the vehicle is AF-9 and it's driver is called 'Mountain & Arctic'.
Snappy name....

Ooo - thanks Paul - I was just trying to look for pics of that AM kit - is there a little white dagger in there? And a white sachel?
Re Baron's actual question I just took it as being a description of the combined two - as in Mountain & Arctic assault. Never thought of it being his actual name.

Oh, and Baron - that pic of one sealed shows that there were at least two variants - plain white and (as mine is) white legs but camo'd top half. So only question left open is if any fully camo'd came with it? Just in case we are being variant geeky about this.

I don't think any of the first wave had code names as such, but my view is mountain and arctic is the figure and A.F.9 is known as the vehicle.
Or have I got your question confused?

The Large "Action Man" uniform was still called "Mountain and Arctic" even though there was no vehicle.
So i am in agreement with with Tintin & Paul ......
The vehicle is AF9 and the figure is the Mountain and Arctic trooper.
