Blood for the Baron!

Some of you probably already know about these figures, but I thought I'd mention it anyway; earlier on today SPACE COMMANDER'S GIRLFRIEND and I were in a branch of Forbidden Planet and they had for sale some GI Joe figures in oldschool packets with a message on the front explaining that these toys were based on the 1980s cartoon series. Included in the selection were some of the Joes who appeared in ;

Duke, Flash, Cobras, Baroness, and several others including Barbecue and Bazooka.

Prices varied, but they were about £7.50 each.

PS. I've just given my nephew a couple of Action Force books and 2 GI Joe dvds.... And so the legend continues.

Which Forbidden Planet was it,as there are 2 different chains.One goes by the name Forbidden Planet International.It occurred during the early 90's when the 2 owners split the company,so now we have 2 different chain of stores both with the same name.

Scarlett-repaint Glenda is now at Forbidden Planet, too. I can't remember how much she was, but she was definitely £7 and something pence.

I spotted them at Forbidden Planet in London. They looked smaller than I remember but it might be because I'm bigger.

I love the Argen 7 Characters and so this GLenda was a real treat for me to pick up

That is one horrible looking figure !

They really should have stopped making Joes in the late 80's when they were still cool.
