I have darkened up this guys pouches and collar, also lightened his hair a little so he is looking more like the original, just need to perfect that logo !
the second pic shows my first and second attempts along with the original.

That is looking fantastic! I reckon you could shave the lower edge off the chevrons with a single stroke of orange. Also, I know I said it before but his rocket logo has to match his patches

oh.. I never really noticed those chevronny things were thicker than the original, when I get around to sorting the logo I will thin those out a bit as well.
still cant decipher that lettering on his chest, might have to wait until mister Tree can get us a better pic?

Cheers. I've been meaning to ask where to get Games Workshop paints from. Ar they available in all Modeller's shops, or just from GW?

I usually but mine in toytown, its our local toy and model shop.
however ... it costs about 2 quid a pot, although buying from ebay with postage could be harsher !

I'm mostly interested in the Space Force colours Scooby found, as I haven't found a proper matching spray paint anywhere. How are they to use on vehicles as opposed to figures?
Still wanting a proper Z Force green too.

I usually use "blood red" which is a little too light, however I have just purchased a pot of "red gore" which I think maybe slightly too dark, although I havent used it on a shadow yet.
I would have to disagree with the application .... I find these paints far superior to humbrol, in fact once i started using these I binned most of my humbrol pots !
they are water based paints and seem to apply very smoothly ( except for the white ) and when the paint dries ( in about 10 minutes) it is waterproof !
