A belt-busting flash....

Hi,

While rummaging through my figures a couple of questions sprang to mind I hoped you could answer.....

1. Why did Deep Sea Defender's backpack have an attaching bit on the back when there was no hole in the figure - were you just meant to use the elastic band?

2. My Flash (see picture) has an odd hole in his waist, it's not been damaged, the gap's too smooth to have a bit snapped off and too even to be burned or anything - is anyone else's the same?

Chris.

That's the first time i have seen a waist like that imo it appears to have been melted.

The defendes backpack was held on by the elastic band with the cross pointing outwards so that the tube could fit over it then the other end of the tube is attached to his antenna / red ariel.

Looks more like a manufacturing defect, there may be a market for rarities like this over at the yojoe forum.

The red Leviathan backpack was originally designed for GI Joe figures as part of the Jump platform, yes we were supposed to make do with the elastic band, but many people give it to Red Laser instead!

Deep Sea Defender's backpack also comes with yank exclusive figure starduster, quite a cool looking figure made up from various parts including duke and steeler.
He is a Jetpack trooper so guess the jump pedates this.
