Dummy Attack Run!!!

Although I live in a top-secret location for top-secret reasons, some of you know I'm in the East of England. There are MANY airbases here, and this morning... one of 'em launched a dummy attack on the base just a few hundred yards from where I sit right now!
We had F16 Fighting Falcons and A10 Tank Busters bombing the $#!t outta the place! Albeit with smoke bombs.
Those spooky sounding A10s sure look like Cobra

Rattlers when they buzz by right overhead!
Good grief, an

TV series or film would look AWESOME, wouldn't it?

Skip and the gang charging across rough terrain to get to their Attack Cannon to blast that sucker outta the sky!

That is cool. My cousin said they love to hear the very distinct sounding A-10's when he was over in Afghanastan. Got them out of many tight spots.

Man, I'm soooooo jealous! Bet that looked ace!
Can you possibly get them to do a dummy run on Barnsley, and lighten up my day a bit? Or better still a real one?
Just give me five minutes to get home to Sheffield first!

Well..., don't get your hopes up. The Baron can testify that when it comes to modern technology, I'm well behind the eight ball.
I'm at work and, quite naturally, my camera is at home. And its an old-school camera anyway!
By the time I managed to get the video function up and running on the newfangled device that my girlfriend assures me is a telephone, it was pretty-much over. I managed to get a clip that was literally a few seconds long... but I don't have the leads (let alone the know-how!) to put the bloomin' thing on the internet.
Sorry!
But growing up around here, it was very easy to imagine

in reallife.
Yes, the Thunderbolt is a very distinctive aircraft. Sadly, much like the F15, it's no good whatseoever for close-quarters ground combat. When the British soldiers stationed just up the road from here got into a tangle in the Middle East, they requested
ground support. But the USAF (ironically from another base just a few miles from here) sent in F15s and T-Bolts... and killed all our boys.
I love

... but war in real-life isn't glamourous, I guess. I suppose that's why
Battle Action Force made such compelling reading..., they never sugar-coated it.
But yes, getting back to the point, there is a lot of Militaria around here, (is that a real word or did I just make it up?). Sometimes it makes life difficult... and other times it makes life colourful!

Blue on Blue has happened all through out History. We shot down one of our own gazelles in the Falklands, even Douglas Bader was shot down by us (the RAF)!

I remember reading somewhere on a GI Joe site in the US, that Battle Action Force was much more realistic than GI JOE comics because 8 out of 10 soldiers died in each battle!
