Blood for the Baron!

I'm desperately hunting a full-colour scan of this image. It's taken from the 1984 "Stop The Enemy" competition leaflet, and is the planned front cover image for our third Best Of Action Force volume.



I lifted the B&W image from sweetheartstoybox ebay auctions, but they have been unable to find the original picture.

I'll rummage this week. Not to get anyones hopes up but I think I have this... will post when I have looked and know one way or another.

Well.... I looked for this and possibly found out why this looked familiar to me...
I found a nice minty full color Poster that they used alot of the same art off of.
What I have is inverted to the one you have pictured. Blades and his SAS chopper and the SAS wolverine tank are on the right side. Quickfire (?) and another lad are possitioned in the grass in the bottom left hand corner. A slew of Shadow vehicles (4 ShadowTraks and 4 Robo-Skulls are coming in from the upper left hand corner. Tag line of: "Action Force the battle has just begun!" in the upper right hand corner.
No images of the Hyena, or the Space or Sea Force stuff on the poster I have.

I haven't given up complete hope that I still have what your looking for, but it's pretty unlikely at this point.

That is indeed the poster I was describing.

One of our lost threads was me putting the shout out for scans of the group photos from the original toy boxes. SteveD answered the call - thanks man.

still thinking you should be using the german att back instead of the old Best of Collection Number 2 back cover , would give people more of a reason to buy this new editions and it would help differentiate the two, since the content is different
