Got round to picking up some German soldiers from the Indiana Jones toys.
Then got set to taking them apart

A work in progress.............
One German soldier, nice chap
Now issued his helmet
Head comes off, won`t fit helmet, darn it!!
Time to break out the cheap version of the Dremel, £25 odd from Argos, lots of tools.
Cone shape to make the hole and rounded tip to hollow out for the round plug.
And hey presto!! One helmet that fits snug as a bug
More to follow.................................

Holy fichtin moley, that is the most - completely anal but brilliant at the same time - contre-tetes I've seen in a long time.

I did consider painting the neck, see how he looks with the flesh first and go from there.
I`ve left the option to swap the heads so he can have the off duty look too.
The original has a closed neck design, ruling out the white collars on this one , but I have 2 so there
could be two versions if this goes O.K.
