Found these from my younger days in with my bag of Action Man clothes. Any idea who they are and what range they are from?
Seem to remember these two guys as Dark Force or Dark Star or something like that. They've got a flint in their backs that lights up their chest logos. Their weapons glow in the dark too...
They've got "Filmation Assoc 1983" on them too.
This guy looks familiar, but I can't for the life of me remember who he is. He's "Mego 1973"...
Any ideas???

I think they are "blackstar" figures make by Galoob in the early eighties ?

They are indeed! Blackstar Laserlights it seems. Quite bizarre - I can't remember the cartoons. Suspect I got them as they were He Man scale.
And after googling Blackstar I find there was also a character called Meuton! He gets everywhere that Muton. Muton with an "E" - not a pleasant thought!
Although he is off to Amsterdam soon isn't he.

Finally my 'Gerry Anderson' knowledge has a use!
The guy in the purple robe is a SPACE:1999 figure. Specfically it's an alien from the season 1 episode "Wargames" (and was played by Anthony Valentine for the trivia buffs!).
I honestly can't remember who made them, but the range of figures came out in the mid 70's. Some were recently re-issued but I'm not sure if that alien was one, so I presume he's an 'original'.

Thanks for that! Yes, he is indeed an original - I bought him when on my holidays in Ripon as a youngster. It was one of them toy shops we now all would love, where old toys that didn't sell simply stayed on the shelf until they did. So for this one it was seemingly ten years, as it must have been at least 1985 by the time i got him. Going to be googling him tonight, as a sale, even just of one figure, may placate the missus somewhat!
