Baron, having been MIA for a while, with the reorganisation, do you still have the Dragons Claws and Death's Head files?
:skeletron:
thanks

Michael

Nah, I took them offline when Titan re-released them as Graphic Novels, seemed only right.

However, I did spy some torrents on Demonoid the other week:

Hi Baron,
New here, and just wanted to ask a wee favour if possible.. you're right about the files and the tbps, but the only thing I can't find online is the scans you had up a while ago of the potential "gothic" remake of DH.
Think they were in the back of the "Life and Times of.." tbp. Any idea if they're up and about soewhre still?

Hi, welcome to the forum!

I'm not sure, I had a Miscellaneous file which was exactly that, as I recall it had the promo posters, adverts and the text portions from Strip magazine and the Life & Times collected edition. I don't know if it's available online anywhere.

You've lost me on the "gothic" remake though. After Death's Head came Death's Head II the cyborg, do you mean him? There was also the relatively recent Death's Head 3.0 in Amazing Fantasy (which was crap).

Drop me a PM, I could always e-mail you the pages if you want.

I bought Death's Head 3.0 and was a bit disapointed in it as well. Although it did look like he might have got a microscopic element of a character by the end of it. By end I mean quite literally the late page and half!!

Howdy, thanks for the kind welcomes, mate!

I think the pics in question were a sneak-peek at a possible new direction for DH (1) that never came to fruition. I'll see if I can fibnd out what I'm talking about, before wasting your time with a PM!!

I think I've got a few of the old Strip comics in a box too - will look them out and see if there's anything interesting in there.

A while ago someone was selling one of the old promo posters for one of the books on ebay - wish I'd bid!

Oh, something else I've remembered - I think this must've been in an old issue of Overkill, but I seem to recall an ad for Death's Head II that had a pic of a metal (bronze?) casting of Death's Head II's head!
Don't know what could have happened to that - it's probably being used as a doorstop in the Marvel UK offices! Would be cool to hunt it down..

You might be thinking of the Death's Head II Gold Issue that was released in a bronze foil edition.

Just a wee aside for those that find such things interesting, the current issue of NOVA, issue 17, features Doctor Necker, and a reference to and pic of the Minion project!
Sorry - realise it's a bit sad to be deligted by that, but it pleased me. It's written by Dan Abnett which explains it..

Have a peek in a comic shop... or of course it can be got very quickly in the usual places through naughty means!
