but perhaps more important to me. RIP my Mum, I miss her a lot.

Some vague AF connection as she (along with my Dad) indulged me to a huge degree when I found AF for the first time and then again in its Hasbro guise. Along with Lego it became my main toy during childhood and they made some amazing vehicle and playset choices for me at Christmas time. I was very lucky in lots of ways.

Sorry for the doom and gloom but it has been cathartic writing and re-writing this and didn't feel so comfortable posting on FB.

Sorry to hear, we also just lost our dear old neighbor last night who was a sort of "reserve"-grandpa for our kids
