That will be another set to add to the endless list. But, for the first time, GL won't be collecting the cash. Pity, I'd rather give it to him than Disney.

Sigh... I probably end up purchasing it again, just as long as they don't try charging an extortionate price.

As 'K' says in Men in Black. holding aloft the new alien media format about to replace CD, "guess I'll have to buy the White Album again..."

If this holds up and they just give us a high res version without any shite tinkering then I'm in.
But I swear to almighty Zeus, if they have Han stepping on Jabba's tail or Vader shouting Noooooooooo when Luke get's force lightening shock treatment in the next version then I'm going to break wind in the general direction of Euro Disney.

If I understand it correctly, editing & special effects wise, these are going to be exactly as the original theatrical release re-mastered in hi-definition from cleaned up negatives.

Weather or not that means we'll get a full H.D. surround sound or just plain Dolby stereo I have no idea, it'd nice to have both.

I'm just hoping that this release is just the original trilogy in a stand alone boxset as I'll be damned if I'm forking out for the entire 6 film saga once again.
