Afternoon folks,

I've been skimming Ebay looking for cheap fodder for some customs and came across these auctions, at about ~€10 - €11 for 5 and free shipping I'd like to jump on one, but wondering which would be the best match for Red Shadow uniforms, want to get it as close as I can.

I've bought Joes from this seller before and I can vouch for their legitimacy, they're also very good at fixing problems with broken items in orders as I have experienced in the last couple of months.

Option A

Option B

Option C

I'm leaning towards C, but the only difference between then and A are a different head that would be removed anyway and the cuffs of the sleeves.

I'll be needing some :shadow: heads shortly by the looks of it, so will have to venture in and see which option for them would be the best, probably the Palitoy compatible ones as these figures seem to have that type of connection, the heads can be cut and modded if the figures turn out to be ball jointed.

Does anyone have any of these figures already? If so, any opinions on their quality.

Cheers muchly folks.

I'd go A, they have jackboots and probably easier to paint.

Sinodolls is busy fixing an order for me atm, they have shipped 3 times. :-/

I concur with A, SteveD makes some very good repro heads with either neck joint too.

I don't like these figures.
Muton (I think) made a long coat red shadow using a similar figure and it looked incredible.
I bought a few to copy/expand the idea but when I got the figures I really didn't like them.
I think its the articulation that I don't like because the sculpts aren't bad.
I might have a couple of figures spare. I'll have a look and let you know.

I agree about Steved heads, quality product and very reasonable.

Cheers for the opinion sir, they look like they could be a bit bandy alright, though willing to take the plunge for the couple bob it'll cost to get my hands on them. I just looked up Muton's Red Shadow and he's very nice in the long coat.

Check out the indiana jones figures.
Loads of possible shadow customs there.

Use A and C for some variety. I remember someone else doing the Shadow eye slits as stickers but forget who that was.
