Blood for the Baron!

Afternoon folks,

A completely hypothetical question here, it may have been asked before.

Hasbro released a bunch of drivers with 5 points of articulation during the Retaliation toyline;
Snake Eyes
Swamp-Viper
Cobra Commander
Clutch
Duke
Desert Fox
Firefly
(They also released a simplified Red Ninja from Retaliation in the Wolverine toy line, we'll include him for chuckles)

Hasbro have also not been afraid to release boxsets of up to 7 figures at retail and online in the past.

Lets say they lose their minds temporarily and decide to release an Action Force boxset based on the Palitoy figures and characters using these moulds as a cheap pack of figures.

Which of the moulds would you like repainted into which character? For me two of them are obvious, but I'd like to hear your own opinions

Also, I wasn't sure which forum to post this in, so move if you need to.

I would rather have modern updates of the action force figs.
Maybe a gi Joe sub line.

I'm afraid I don't know what the figures you've mentioned look like. However, my old buddy Mark and I made a couple of customs long ago that might be of interest.

Our idea was to take some of the Hasbro style 'bendy' figures from 1983, and remake them using Palitoy figures from 1982.

Gaucho was a little more difficult. There were no bare-chested figures in the 1982 line! But he was meant to be a Marine, so we thought we'd give him a dress-uniform look instead. The result looked a lot like GI Joe's Gung-Ho;

In fact, if the Roll Call Convention figures went in a direction like this (i.e. straight limbed) then I'm buying...!!

I gathered up a few pictures and here we are.

Strange how back in the day we all wanted more multi limbed Action Force figures...
& now we're talking re-released straight limbed figures!...
Personally love the mix of original straight & multi limbed figs..it's what made the UK/euro range so much more diverse than the US Joe's.
With regards boxed sets would love to see Z Force, SAS, Enemy etc; boxed sets.

I'd like the boxset of straight limb figures to mix with the multi jointed Joes, it would set them apart somewhat and hint at their Palitoy origins. Some of the figures by themselves would be Z-Force, SAS, Red Shadows with a new paint job.
I like an articulated figure, but some of them might function better as toys with less of it.

HOWEVER, if we're giving them new paint apps, why rehash existing characters at all, why not just bolster the ranks - I'd love to create some biographies!

Would be truly amazing to help make this happen! I wonder if the Collectors Club could help?
