Mah, i missed bidding on the escape armour by having a slow connection. Thats the third that has ended at silly afternoon time and i won the other two, was hoping to make it a hat trick.

Silly price for the whale, i might list my spare and see what i get. The last few have gone quite high so maybe the bidders just got fed up of losing out and went all in.

The ironic thing is that the seller offered it to a friend of mine for £35. The back end is f*cked, I've bought from this guy and unfortunately he's been at the superglue on most of his listings, he tends not to mention that!

The bidders have been Sniffing the superglue by the looks of it!!!

With some items, such as that Escape armour, I've just stopped bidding as I know it's going to go over my price range... maybe other folks are thinking the same & not bothering either?

Beside, that was only the final selling price, the winning bidder probably put in a massive highest bid which (if someone else had got involved) would of pushed the price up to astronomical proportions.

That's what people often forget about eBay - the end price showing isn't necessarily what you'd have got it for, as you'd be the third variable. Just because something sold for £5 doesn't mean you'd have got it for £5.50! The winners max bid could've been £100!!!
