That was the first train I had as a kid. Had the light up engine and everything haha. Good stuff.

I have the tri-ang version of the LMS carriages, lovely. Nice work again, Ed.

- Is that you Mrs. Grayson?

- Yes?

- Has the train arrived in Paddington yet?

- No. I'm afraid it's in Colchester...ouch!
Great pics, Ed, I love the lighting in the last one.

I took my nephew to the YOrk railway museum the other week, and I have to say it's rekindled my interest in getting a train set! And these lovely pics didn't help either T'shot!!

Go on Steve, treat yourself, you know you want one
Thanks for the nice comments folks, I wasn't sure if anyone here liked toy trains or not.
I'm not a train buff myself (I no longer have a train set) but this toy engine holds a lot of sentimental value for me.

I thought people of our age (being nice and broad there) would have the largest attachment to the Hornby Intercity 125 in a BR livery. I remember nearly everyone that had a trainset had one of them, in fact I still have mine.

Probably a few years ago I would of wanted a 125 but now-a-days, whenever I see one, I associate them with Jimmy Savile
