Okay in an effort to learn more about these characters for both myself and other Like newbies who didnt grow up with these characters I would like to discuss this characters
http://bloodforthebaron.com/Blood/Datafile%2025.html
So what was his first comic appearance ? his data file says he is the oldest member of Action Force , 45 years old ? was this ever referenced in the comics ?
is he a pacifist ? or will he fight ?
For me he is one of the characters that really stands out in the first gen AF guys
Scout
Doc
Captain Cambell
Albert Jones ( Stake Out )
Eagle
all have something that just kind of begs the reader to want to know more about.
any thoughts questions or answers on this guy ?

Definately not a pacifist. Pacifist have no place in a war. He will fight if needed since he is a combat medic there will be time he need to carry a rifle. From what I know, medic starts from scratch by training as any other soldier first before going for their first aid training.

He was a wave 2 AF guy, so unless he's in the background of the promo micro-comic his first appearance will be during Jungle Terror, followed by Assault on Atoll Z.
Man, that was a great time for Z Force, he got him, Scout, Gaucho, Jammer, the base, the Whirlwind and of course the APC. Not to mention the three PACRAT's.

Professional combat medics don't carry weapons in hand because they have to treat the wounded non-stop and carry stretchers in extremis ... that's their fkn job, not to twat the enemy.. even if the men are all tooled up with their own morphine and drip and believe they can self medicate in shock in the first instance .. then their buddies can help ... unless you've lost part of a limb, then it's tricky... hmm... better call the combat medic over...
In the established armies of democratic societies many medics up to surgeon level have never fired a gun. They have no need so to do. It is not their job. They are also protected by the Geneva Conventions which only the most aberrant of egregious polities and non-polities disrespect in their wanton contemptibility.
Thus Doc was suited to his calling, not least given his advanced years.
All of which reminds me, why the fk isn't there an AF padre? And which existing character would best fit that description? Mein geld ist von
And on that note, I could not give a flying fig for creating an AF lawyer as all the types in issue 2 were, by default, respectful of the laws of war. Apart from his nibs the nutter he can fk off on the crappy airline he came in on
PS. The origin of the misperception may lie in the fact that in the US Marine every man is a rifleman. Not difficult. Apart from the sentries in Beirut in 83, didn't even have rounds chambered as they guarded their base in a war zone surrounded by all the crazies overfed on Wahhabi oil money. No wonder the medics had to dig out the dismembered from their ville. Unfortunately Ronald doesn't chronicle this chronic contradiction in his extensive diaries, maybe next time Ron, focus dude. In the meantime, in AF it was every man a judicious emperor, as ever.

Yeah, those were the days mein freund. Go Zed!
PS. still trying to roll that fkn Assault Cannon around with some dignity, any further suggestions other than the APC-Whirlwind roof-rack combo?

I now have a surfeit of Z bases after failing to own one in my youth. But yeah, you guessed it, they're all in my fkn container...
